1. INTRODUCTION

   So here is the fourth full-length instalment of MetalMOD tributes to
   Iron Maiden, hopefully as a nice surprise to most of you. The main reason
   for this disk beeing secret and invite only was the pressure I've felt
   with other projects when exceeding the deadline. That was probably a wise
   decision since the idea grow in mine and Dragons mind in November 2000(!)
   when we heard Arwe's great Iron Maiden covers (Mercenary and Fallen Angel).
   So the tracking have actually extend over 2 years, and you thought Modulica
   was much delayed :), the attentive notes that this project started even
   before Modulicas release date.

   Since this project started Arwe has left the scene, both Cadaver and Dragon
   left the scene and came back, Malekith struggled with his solo disk,
   Cadaver stopped doing cooperation vocals for a while, Dragon got the leader
   role of Metalscene Central and left it, and I've even started tracking
   seriously during this period.

   During this time Iron Maiden Sound Archive have disappeared from the net
   because of bandwidth problems with spaceports.com. Just 100 MB download
   limit per day and 1 GB download limit per month was impossible meet up to
   with the traffic that page had, so my account got closed all the time. I
   grew tired of it and closed the site. Now I have set up an own webserver
   at home running Apache on OpenBSD, but Iron Maiden Sound Archive is
   history, only my own releases and projects will be hosted at the new site.

   Back to the disk, Out Of The Silent Planet by Arwe is actually dated
   2000-11-17 and wasn't vocalized until 2 years later, in spite of that age
   I think it's a brilliant cover. I would say all of the covers but for
   Arwes and Cadavers contributions have taken quite some time to finish. I 
   use to say I'm a slow tracker, but hey, one and a half year for Mother
   Russia, that seems a bit extreme. Oh, and another BOTF? Only time will
   show, but count on more tributes from hakprod at least. So until the next
   time, have a good sin...
