                          The Network for Traders
                          "Keeping you up to date"

=============================================================================

                       .:< What is WarezNet '94? >:.

The idea behind WarezNet is to keep the Elite-Boards in the scene informed
on what is going on in the scene. This could vary from groupnews and their
releases, to warnings about fake's, virus infected files or a bust somewhere.
We came to this idea because we want the news (any news) to travel as fast as
the warez. And most traders don't want to spend their time posting the same
message on several boards. Now they only have to post it once, and it will be
spread all over the network within hours.
And ofcourse it's a great way of changing idea's/tips with other traders...

                    .:< How do I join WarezNet '94? >:.

Joining WarezNet couldn't be simpler.. Call one of the nodes and leech the
latest wareznet.zip and fill out the application form, and upload it to that
node. We'll review the app and one of the staff will call you and give you a
nodenumber and a nodelist with you in it. As long as you meet the following
requirements:

Poll your HUB at least once a week.
You must have a mailer installed (such as QFront or Frontdoor).
Your Board must be online 24hours.
You must be running an Elite ("quality") board. The staff will decide that.
At least take the 3 manditory areas and 1 optional area.

We plan to keep this net clean from the kiddies and other assholes roaming the
more regular and official net's. It is intented to be a serious mailing net for
quality boards. So if you got users who are into flaming or other lame message
writing, get connected to CholeraNet, because we will have no problems what so
ever with kicking out the node with too many of that sort of messages.
Also try to keep the all messages in English, because this is an international
network. Try to keep the right messages in the right areas as much as possible,
or else forward them to the appropriate one.
Nodes with too many violations of these simple, yet important rules, will be
warned only once! Lockout is the next step.
